Confirmation

Confirmation is a rite of passage for adults and teenagers who wish to publicly affirm their faith in Christ and their desire to live by his teachings.

The Confirmation Service can include baptism for anyone not previously baptised.

Preparation courses are held every year at St Pancras for anyone who wishes to be confirmed in the Church of England.

Confirmation

From the Confirmation Service:

The Bishop speaks to every candidate by name saying:

(Name), God has called you by name and made you his own.

The Bishop lays his or her hand on the head of each candidate, saying:

Confirm, O Lord, your servant with your Holy Spirit.
