New Electoral Roll for 2025

In line with the national Church of England procedure, we need to produce a completely new Electoral Roll every 6 years, and this year, 2025, is a year when this must take place.

Even if you are registered on the existing roll, you now need to re-register for the 2025 roll by completing an electoral roll form. If you are not on the existing roll but see St Pancras Church as your main place of worship, you are invited to register.

To be on the Electoral Roll:

  • you have to be baptised and be aged 16 or over,

  • in addition you have to fall into one of the following three categories:

    1. be resident in St Pancras parish and a member of the Church of England (or a denomination in communion with it); or

    2. be resident elsewhere, but a member of the Church of England, or a denomination in communion with it, and habitually attended public worship in St Pancras parish during the preceding six months (worship on any day of the week counts); or

    3. be a member of a different denomination which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity who has habitually attended public worship in St Pancras parish during the preceding six months (again, worship on any day of the week counts).

(You are permitted to be on the electoral roll of more than one church.)

There will be emails & letters going out from the church office asking people to re-register; but if you can download the electoral roll form, complete it, and return it to the church office that would really help.

Registration forms need to be completed and returned by 28 April 2025

so that the new roll can be published on the church noticeboards

by 2nd May, in time for our Annual Parish Church Meeting.
