New Bishop of London appointed
We are delighted to hear the news that the next Bishop of London will be Rt Revd Sarah Mullally.
Bishop Sarah, who will be London’s first woman bishop, brings a vast range of experience to the role. Currently Bishop of Crediton in the Diocese of Exeter, she worked as the Chief Nursing Officer for England prior to ordination. She was made a Dame Commander of the British Empire in 2005 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to nursing and midwifery.
